Once the script and mood board have been approved, the next step is to create a storyboard. This helps to define the style of the content and easily make amends before going into production, saving time and money.
A storyboard is a great way to get a clear idea of how the video will flow, with written descriptions detailing the proposed movement for each scene, as well as the accompanying section of voiceover where applicable.
I export the storyboard in PDF format, which can then be annotated by the client with any amends, suggestions or queries, which I can resolve.
Once the storyboard has been fully approved, I can then export each of the layered scenes and take them into After Effects to animate, thus creating an efficient and streamlined workflow..
