I had the opportunity to work on a series of videos for JLL’s Residential brand campaign, each one covering a different topic – renting with pets, predictions for the market, working from home and the extension to the stamp duty holiday.
The style of these videos was simply and classy, with the primary visual interest coming from the text and the moving rectangular bar, which revealed different areas of the image behind. Each of the videos had an HD as well as a square version for social media.
I created the videos in After Effects. In order to not make it too visually distracting, stock images were used instead of video clips. I added subtle motion to these images to create more interest for the viewer while still making the text the primary focus of attention. Key words were also highlighted in bold to make them stand out.
